I have lived through war, traveled across continents, worked in the biggest cities, and built brands for some of the world’s most iconic companies. But no matter where I went, no matter what opportunities came my way, Lebanon was always home. Not just in the sentimental sense, but in the undeniable, unshakable way that a great love story binds two souls together.
The Heartbeat of My Roots: Yahchouch and Nahr Ibrahim
I was born into a country of contradictions, beauty and chaos, resilience and struggle. But if you really want to understand my love for Lebanon, you must first understand Yahchouch, my village. A hidden paradise, perched above the legendary Nahr Ibrahim River, a place where nature still whispers the stories of ancient myths. The river’s relentless flow reminds me that Lebanon, despite its hardships, never stops moving forward. Every time I stand there, looking at the water cutting through the mountains, I am reminded of the power of persistence of a country that refuses to give up.
A Global Perspective, A Lebanese Heart
I had the privilege of working in the Gulf, living in some of the most advanced cities in the world, and crafting marketing strategies for global giants like Coca-Cola, BMW, and Mastercard. I learned what makes brands powerful, what makes them memorable, and most importantly, what makes them loved. Yet, I never once thought of any brand other than Lebanon as my true my true love brand.
Lebanon: The Most Beautiful Brand in the World
As an ad man, I see the world through a different lens. To me, Lebanon is not just a country; it is a brand. And not just any brand, but one with all the makings of a love brand, a brand that people don’t just like, but deeply connect with, fight for, and remain loyal to.
A love brand is not built on logic alone, it is built on emotion, identity, and experience. It is why people proudly wear a Ferrari jacket even if they don’t own a Ferrari. It is why some brands become part of personal identity. Lebanon has all the ingredients to be that brand, its culture, its history, its diversity, its unmatched hospitality.
My Dream: Turning Lebanon into a Love Brand
Now, more than ever, I am dedicating a lot of my time, my expertise, and my passion to building the brand of Lebanon. Not as an idealistic dream, but as a strategic, actionable vision. I want Lebanon to be seen not just as a destination, but as an experience that people desire, long for, and fall in love with.
Because in the end, perception is reality. And I truly believe that Lebanon’s reality, its energy, its magic, its soul, deserves to be celebrated, cherished, and shared with the world.
The world is full of beautiful places. But there is only one Lebanon.
So, how do we make Lebanon the world’s next love brand?
